Our mission here at Trench Training is to keep big kids in the game and improve line play at all levels. We want to make the biggest possible impact on the game. We feel we can do that best by providing youth coaches with a program to help them teach solid o-line fundamentals.
Our Play BIG O-Line Coaches Academy provides coaching instruction designed to enhance offensive line play in any offense that is presently run at your local schools. This program focuses on hip development, stance and start, punch mechanics, run game technique and pass protection fundamentals. These are techniques that have proven to help athletes become better, safer players.
Module 1
Hip Development
Hip mobility is the basis for power and explosion in all sports. It's critical to the success of offensive linemen. This module walks you through why it's important to have flexible hips and gives you drills that you can do with your players to develop stronger, more powerful hips.
Module 2
Stance & Start
Up front, everything starts with our stance and take off. In this module we give you a proven method to get your athlete in the perfect stance as well as a step progression to improve ball get off.
Module 3
Punch Mechanics
The way we punch makes all the difference when it comes to winning or losing at the line of scrimmage. In this module we walk through our punch progression that teaches proper and save punch technique, which includes hand placement and hip recruitment to bring maximum power to the punch.
Module 4
Run Game Technique
Teams that can run the ball win a lot of games. We all know running the football successfully starts on the line of scrimmage. In this module we look at drive blocks, down blocks, reach blocks, pulling and double teams. Everything you need to move people up front and run the football.
Module 5
Pass Protection Fundamentals
Teaching pass protection fundamentals to youth and high school players is one of the most difficult tasks in all of football for coaches. Most programs do not set aside time, nor do they have the expertise to teach pass pro. This module will give you the basics to allow your line to protect the quarterback and have a successful pass game.
Play BIG Live
Play BIG Live will provide training and Q&A sessions every month with our staff. We'll also be bringing in coaches and players from the youth, high school, college and NFL levels.
O-Line Coaches Corner
The Coaches Corner will have content on general coaching techniques. Our goal is not only to create great, technical offensive line coaches. We also want to help develop all aspects of coaching, from communication to personal development to player behavior issues. Our coaches have a ton of experience and are an incredible resourse for your programs.

We want to continue to learn. Our private community forum and our private Facebook group are incredible resources for our members. These are spaces for coaches to ask questions, start conversations and network with their peers.
